“I am so grateful to Stonebrook! I was so reluctant to put my mother into a nursing home, but her doctor insisted that it was the best way for her to recover from her hip surgery. I toured a few nursing homes in the area, and the staff at Stonebrook were so welcoming that I brought my mom here.

She was treated so well by Stonebrook. They looked after all of her needs and started her on a rehab program. At first she was in a lot of pain post surgery and couldn’t do too much in rehab. By the second week, however, she was making great progress. After 3 weeks my mom was able to come home. I was amazed that she was almost sad to go. She had made some good friends at Stonebrook and amongst the Stonebrook staff.

I would recommend Stonebrook to anyone thinking about putting a loved one into a nursing home.”

After visiting several buildings and making our final decision that best accommodated our unique needs we had heard nothing but positive reviews about Stonebrook. We felt that the atmosphere not only met our expectations but far surpassed them! The building itself is absolutely gorgeous, the cleanest I have ever been inside of to be perfectly honest. Whats more important is the way the staff interacts with our entire family. Nothing means more to me than knowing that my loved one has genuine and quality care. The CNAs and Nurses made our transition smooth and have continually made sure that my concerns are heard and taken care of in a extremely professional and timely manner. There is honestly not one bad thing that could be said of this building or the staff. Stonebrook has surpassed every expectation we could have had through this difficult time.

I was slated for a 2-week stay after hip replacement surgery. I left after one week. There were a few aides who were doing their jobs, but for the most part, they didn't seem qualified, were lazy or didn't care. The facility was noisy, no privacy, 3 women patients sharing the same bathroom (lack of hygiene). The patients were not segregated according to specific needs. The food was terrible. The patient rooms were not properly temperature controlled (83 degrees one day). The staff would not give regular pain meds without a verbal request EACH TIME. A post-op patient needs regular pain meds. The night nurse would leave the patient lying there waiting an hour before the pain med arrived. All the aides were from foreign countries and did not speak American English well. plus they were difficult to understand with masks on. The PT director argued with me about going home. I felt trapped.

My mother is currently in this facility and the experience has not been good. Cleanliness is sketchy at best. One of the employees spilled urine on the floor twice trying to pour it from the catheter to another container and then only cleaned up one spill. Food has been awful according to my mother. Worst, there has been no "Rehab". No standing and attempting to walk, no strengthening exercises, nothing. My mother has seen the onsite "physician" once in 10 days and there has been no plan of action in the rehab process. Disgusted to say the least.

I am immune suppressed. The facility did not practice hygienic practices for someone who is a transplanted patient. The room was not clean, with garbage on the floor and filth on the blinds when I arrived. I was promised a private room by three individuals prior to admission, but was placed in a double room. While I was out, they put another patient in my room. In addition, my medications (I have 25) were constantly getting fouled up, and people were hacking and coughing all night. People were bumping into each other in the exercise room; it was so crowded. I asked to be discharged as it was not safe for my health.

My grandma had a hip surgery last month. She stayed in this rehab for more than a month. I’m satisfied with everything. The place was clean and staff are very friendly and hard worker. Almost all of them are very caring. My grandma was released and i wanted to say thank you to everyone for helping her to get back on track. The physical therapy team was really outstanding. All very caring, knowledgeable and nice. In general I was very happy with choosing this place out of other options that we had. Good people , caring, nice, clean
