Meet the People
A community is only as good as its residents. Ours are pretty amazing.
“The beauty of being here is that there’s so much you can do.”

Martin Liu5 StarMy wife broke her femur bone and was admitted to Terraces at Los Altos for rehab after 5 days stay at Stanford Hospital. Terrace is at a quiet residential neighborhood, all single rooms. The aisles are wide and bright. All staffs were very nice and friendly, including the receptionists, CNAs, RNs, PTs, OTs and administrative staff. We had a very pleasant experience. I would give it five stars.Friday 30th August 2024
Polly Neumann1 StarBeware of this place. My father stayed there in May and asked if the time was covered by medicate. They assured him it was. Sure enough just last month (almost a year later) we received a $2k bill we just paid. Other places don’t do this. Most are covered by Medicare and the supplemental insurance 100% for the 20 days after a hospital stay. Don’t trust this place. Also, dad stayed at a different place after this for a different event after a hospital stay and he said the care was much better at the other place. So the combination of not so great care and overcharges… not a fan. The pretty building doesn’t make up for it.Monday 20th May 2024
Shirley Thomson5 StarHusband and I have lived here now for about nine months, and happily, we were welcomed in numerous ways right from the beginning. We've enjoyed many pleasant outings and numerous in-house presentations and activities. Notably, dinner hours are a daily pleasure with varied menus and friendly conversation with an interesting population of well educated and much travelled people. We know we made the right decision when we chose The Terraces.Saturday 20th May 2023
Randall Thacker1 StarTerrible service. My cousin stayed there for rehab and after waiting an hour and a half for the CNA to come she had to call an outside line to the front desk to get someone to come help her use the commode. The food is full of butter and not very healthy. It’s a pretty building but the service is horrible. Avoid at all costs.Saturday 30th December 2023
jaskiran dhillon5 StarThe Terraces of Los Altos staff was wonderful. The rehabilitation program my grandpa was there for helped him get back on his feet quickly. The staff was very attentive to his needs and always kept us in the loop. They gave us a peace of mind when we could not see him for weeks at the hospital. Overall, it is a great place!Wednesday 17th March 2021
